A routine built around moisture

A routine built around moisture

Four steps, and the order matters more than the number. A humectant goes on damp skin, then a moisturizer goes over it to hold what it is holding. Applied to dry skin in a dry room, a hydrating serum has very little to work with.

The routine, in order

  1. Step 1 · Cleanse

    Enriched Foaming Cleanser

Lukewarm, not hot. Hot water strips more than it cleans, and skin that already feels tight will feel tighter.

  2. Step 2 · Hydrate

    Hyaluronic Acid Serum

On skin still damp from cleansing. This is the step people get wrong most often — a humectant needs water available to hold.

  3. Step 3 · Seal

    Face Moisturizing Cream

Straight over the serum, before it has fully dried. This is the part that slows the water leaving again.

  4. Step 4 · At night

    Night Cream

A richer texture for overnight, when you are not layering anything else on top of it.

Why the damp-skin rule matters

Humectants attract and hold water, and they draw on whatever water is available — including moisture in the air. Applying one to bone-dry skin in a dry room gives it the least to work with. Damp skin, then a moisturizer on top, is the whole technique. The hyaluronic acid reference explains the ingredient in more detail.

In winter, or in a heated room

Indoor heating pulls humidity out of the air, which is exactly when the moisturizer step stops being optional. A face mist kept at a desk is a small, inexpensive habit that helps through the day.

Quick answers

Do I need both a serum and a moisturizer?

They do different jobs. One holds water; the other helps slow its loss. Using them together is the point of the sequence.

Damp skin or dry skin?

Damp. Apply within a minute of cleansing, before skin has fully dried.

Can I use this in the morning too?

Yes. The first three steps work morning and evening. The night cream is the only evening-specific item.

Where do I read the complete formula?

On each product page. Every complete ingredient list is published there — read it before purchasing.
