Overview

Papa & Filles is an inclusive skincare and makeup brand based in Canada. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you create an account, place an order, take our skin quiz, join our newsletter, or message us through our contact form.

This policy does not cover the checkout experience. Payments and checkout are handled by Shopify under Shopify's Terms of Service and Shopify's Privacy Policy. We never receive or store your full card details.

Personal information we collect

Account information: your name and email when you create a Papa & Filles account.

Order information: the items you buy, billing and shipping details, and order history. We use this to fulfill your orders and support you afterward.

Quiz and dashboard data: your skin quiz answers and saved results, optional private progress photos, and preferences you set inside your dashboard.

Ambassador program data: application details (name, email, social handle), referral activity, and payout preferences for approved ambassadors.

Messages and consent: contact-form messages, marketing consent choices, and email preference settings.

Payments and checkout

All payment and checkout processing is handled by Shopify. Shopify collects and processes your card information directly, under Shopify's Terms of Service and Shopify's Privacy Policy. We receive order details from Shopify so we can fulfill and support your order, but we do not receive or store your full card number or payment credentials.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your shopping cart, and understand how the site is used across sessions.

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics, a cookie-free analytics service, to measure aggregate visits and non-personalized actions such as adding an item to the bag or beginning checkout. We do not send names, email addresses, or payment information in these events. Shopify may use its own technologies during checkout under Shopify's Privacy Policy.

Email marketing

Marketing emails for product launches, founder notes, and offers go only to subscribers who opt in. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by signing in to your dashboard and updating your email preferences.

Account-related messages (order confirmations, password resets, ambassador updates, and reminder check-ins) still arrive when marketing is off, because they are needed to run your account.

How long we keep your data

We keep account and order information while your account is active. Private progress photos are removed when you delete them from your dashboard. You can request deletion of your personal information at any time using the contact details below.

Sharing and service providers

We share data only with service providers who help us operate the business—Shopify (checkout and orders), our email platform, and our analytics partners, each under contracts that limit how they use it. We never sell your personal information.
